Paul and Justine Houghton are both originally from South Africa. Paul was raised in Johannesburg and Justine grew up in Cape Town. God brought them together while serving in the Jubilee Training Centre in 2004. They have both worked for the church and training centre for the last few years, and together they head up Saturation School of Missions and Saturation Trust - both operating out of the Resource Hub. They share a passion for the developing world and love to see healthy, thriving communities that have been impacted and transformed by the Kingdom of God. | Cell Leaders
Aaron and Kristy are a quintessentially English couple. As a result, we love tea, form orderly and polite queues and cook roast dinners on a Sunday. Football is a must for Aaron, who is an Arsenal fan (we know God has a sense of humour because all of my family are die-hard Spurs supporters). Due to his unwaivering passion, Aaron runs football every Wednesday night, which is open to all and sundry. Then it's off to the pub for beer and burgers. Drumming, cars, any sport (but preferably playing it and as competitively as possible), design and food also float his boat.
Kristy changes her hair colour and style more often than she has hot baths, has a Heinz variety of quite loud and raucus laughs and can usually be found with a large group of girls having fun, or in intense, very long one-on-one chats. She loves dancing, and isn't too keen on flag waving. She helps out with Street Pastors (see www.streetpastors.org.uk for more info) and would love to meet anyone who has a horse she can jump on to satisfy a passion which has been inbuilt in her since she was about two. We are both passionate, determined and competitive, which means we have plenty of tales to tell (just ask about a 'friendly' duster hockey game or a Sheffield football match). Kristy has a huge passion for social justice, media and people and Aaron loves to see men take a stand of authority for God. | Tony and Lara met at Jubilee, got married as part of Jubilee and have both been through the training centre. Lara was born in Zimbabwe but raised for most of her life in Cape Town, South Africa, while Tony is a good old, home-grown Englishman who was born in London and grew up in Maidstone.
Tony runs his own business called FSH Property Services, while Lara is an IT professional working for a local business group. They are both passionate about people and they thrive on building friendships and enjoying life! Their heart is to see people and communities come to their fullness and wholeness in Christ and ultimately reflecting and representing God and His Kingdom. | Ross and Elfa - We are a couple that is passionate about Jesus Christ and seeing His Kingdom established in the nations. The desire of our hearts is to see people worshipping Christ in the way He created them to. For us, it is about reflecting and representing the Father and seeing the next generation of worhippers raised up. | Faith and Ida - Faith was born and raised in Nyanga, Zimbabwe. Since moving to Maidstone, she has undertaken two courses at the Jubilee Training Centre; The Saturation School of Missions and Year of Training. Her passion for third world nations is undeniable. She currently volunteers for the charity, Computers 4 Africa, and is taking part-time courses through the University of Wales.
One of her greatest desires is to see people reach their full potential. This bubbly fashion queen has touched the hearts of many and has a heart that blesses everyone who meets her. Ida is originally from the southern part of the United States. She spent some of her formative years in The Gambia, West Africa. After completing the Year of Training Course, Ida went on to become a student leader at the Jubilee Training Centre´s Creative Arts Academy. She is also a part of Stainless which is Jubilee Church’s band. Ida desires to see people develop the heart of a worshipper. Together, Ida and Faith make up the bouncy, loud, and exciting connect group they like to call ´Plug´. |
