Jubilee Church is a Christian family based in Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Church of the Nations (CotN) – an international family comprised of nearly 2,000 churches in some 40 nations (for more information visit www.cotn.org).
Started over 25 years ago, Jubilee was the second CotN church to be established anywhere in the world and is the oldest church in CotN to date.
Family is at the heart of everything we do at Jubilee, but because we are a resource church, we have a specific vision to equip and disciple people, churches and communities.
Our church life is expressed in three key ways:
1. Church in celebration. This is our weekly gathering on Sundays. It's a time of celebration with the whole family where we praise God for His goodness throughout the week.
2. Church in the home. Some call them life groups, others house groups; we call them cell groups and they form the basis of our church. Cells are about Jubilee people living life together in smaller groups throughout the week. Cell groups are a great way to find support, encouragement and family. They are also a great evangelistic tool.
3. Church in the community. This is how we make an impact on the community around us; be it in business, government, schools, charitable works or through outreaches and missions. After all, the vast majority of Jesus' time was spent out with the people of His day.
In a nutshell, Jubilee is a place of vibrant and genuine life with a fundamental mission - to equip the current generations of believers to see their surroundings impacted and transformed.
