Putting Zest into the New Year

Zest beat the snow for family fun.

Zest was certainly not going to let the snow beat us getting together as a family for the first time in 2010!  After the Christmas break, all the Zesters, big and small alike, gathered together in the very toasty All Nations Coffee Bar to sip away on some warm tea and coffee!  With a myriad of kids running wild in their snug pyjamas to dads and mums and friends chattering away about their Christmas festivities (as well as laughs over nicest to not-so-nice gifts received), we can confidently say it was a great success.

We reminisced over what most stood out from the last decade to, more excitingly, what we trust to see happen in our lives and the communities around us. The evening wound down as we spent some time listening to the Father’s voice while Ralf played on his guitar....It was great to have you all back safe and sound Zest family!  We look forward to the rest of the year together!

Brothers In Arms

Servant-Kings, Tender Warriors, Wise Mentors and Faithful Friends, read on!

Band of Brothers is running this year as part of our cell structure, and we invite you to join us on the last Thursday of every month...but only if you're male!

Each of the Thursday nights will give guys the opportunity to connect with each another and, this year, explore four pillars of manhood: the Servant-King, the Tender Warrior, the Wise Mentor and the Faithful Friend.

Join us at the Band of Brothers launch at the Raja of Kent for a slap-up buffet on January 28^th.

Sledding Mayhem!

Cell Celebration

Multiplcation was the theme of this celebration!

As part of the last zone celebration for 2009, Zoe Life was delighted to celebrate the multiplication of Tim and Jenny’s cell.

Ian and Carol Rich have now been given the free rein of running their own cell!  It was a delight to pray for them as a zone and a true pleasure to see our first multiplication. With another cell multiplication taking place in the next few weeks, we're excited about the year ahead.

School of The Word

Well, it was an incredible finish to the first term of School of the Word! 

The students and staff have all had an amazing three months and we have seen the Father do an incredibly deep work in all of us!  We have definitely seen that one never stops learning.  With only two books of the New Testament left to do, we have been blessed by the incredible wealth of knowledge from lecturers such as Neil Pattison to Alex Afryie from London Network Church.  A huge thanks to you all. 

And as we gear up for our third trip to Israel and begin our journey through the amazing Old Testament too, we wait with excitement and anticipation at seeing the further work of Father God in and through us all!
